Selections from Carl Sandburg's writings. Most people know of Sandburg as a poet and novelist, but he was also a historian, humanitarian, and a collector. Carl Sandburg collected this country's oral and written history, fables, songs, and even it's jokes; writing them down so that we would have them to reflect on.
