A Grand Night for Singing

Book by Walter Bobbie; Musical Arrangements by FredWells, Music by Richard Rodgers, Lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein

Envision a tapestry of taste and imagination, the two key ingredients for a first-rate revue, woven into one grand night of singing the Rodgers & Hammerstein canon with a fresh new approach. Imagine "Shall We Dance?" as a comic pas de deux, and a lovelorn lad posing the question, "How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria?" This new revue is laced with innovative musical arrangements of timeless classics: an Andrews Sisters-esque "I'm GonnaWash That Man Right Outa My Hair," a swingin' "Honeybun," and a jazzy "Kansas City" leave no question about how terrifically up-to-date the songs of Rodgers & Hammerstein remain.

Opening Night: Friday, November 16, 2007 - Closing Night: Saturday, December 1, 2007
