Kiss Me, Kate

Book by Bella and Samuel Spewack, Music by Cole Porter, Lyrics by Cole Porter

This classic American musical tells the story of four actors' egocentric on-again/off-again relationships and battle of wills, all set within a "play-within-a-play" storyline of "The Taming of the Shrew." Loaded with dancing, laughter and Cole Porter classics, musical numbers include: Why Can't You Behave; So In Love; Wunderbar; Tom, Dick or Harry; Too Darn Hot; Brush Up Your Shakespeare; I Hate Men; Always True to You (In My Fashion); and Another Op'nin, Another Show. Winner of five 1949 Tony Awards®, including Best Musical, Score and Book.

Opening Night: Friday, November 17, 1978 - Closing Night: Saturday, December 2, 1978
