A Midsummer Night's Dream

Written by William Shakespeare

"Lord, what fools these mortals be!"

"A Midsummer Night's Dream", the most entertaining & beguiling of William Shakespeare's comedies, will be presented at The Barn Theatre in Montville on Friday and Saturday, October 6 and 7, 2000 at 8:00pm.

Lauren Moran directs a wonderful cast in this classic favorite, ideal for audiences young and old alike -- and with tickets priced at only $5, you can afford to brush up your Shakespeare for less than the cost of a movie!.

Everyone's in love with someone who's in love with someone else. And if that weren't wild enough, Shakespeare throws in a zany troupe of traveling actors, comic rustics, transfigured humans, and war in the world of an Athenian forest full of magic, mystery and mischievous fairies on a midsummer night - the result is one of the funniest farces in the history of the theatre! Come join us for The Bard's exploration of love in the land of dreams.

Opening Night: Friday, October 6, 2000 - Closing Night: Saturday, October 7, 2000
